What is SLAC?

SLAC is a district-level organization. Its goal is to facilitate communication directly between the superintendent and the parents and guardians of the student body. 

SLAC members are appointed by the school principal to represent the school’s PTO/Parent Organization to the District.  SLAC members share information presented at meetings with their PTO/Parent Organizations, as well as provide the Superintendent with PTO/Parent Organization feedback, concerns, and observations.

How can I find more information about SLAC or submit a question or concern to the MTSD Superintendent?

1. Contact Nitrauer’s school principal
2. Connect with one of Nitrauer’s SLAC representatives by emailing to NitrauerPTOSLAC@gmail.com .  Your comments will be forwarded to the appropriate parties for a direct response and/or will be addressed in the following PTO meeting.
3. Attend at Nitrauer PTO meeting (in-person or virtually) and voice your question or concern directly to your fellow PTO, Principal, and SLAC Representatives.
