*Thank you to Brenna Colosi for coordinating this year’s Fun Fest, Elizabeth Roda for coordinating the Basket Raffle, and the many volunteers who helped to make the evening possible!  It was great to have so many families join us as lots of fun times were had!

*Thank you to Maggie Foley & Rae Milne for coordinating last Friday’s Mix It Up LunchThank you to the many parents who helped during the lunch!

*All parents/guardians are invited to join us for our last PTO meeting of this school year.  It will be Tuesday, May 21st at 7pm in the Faculty Room.   Hope to see you there!

*Come out and support the Nitrauer PTO at Rita’s on Granite Run Drive Thursday, May 30th from 6-9pm.  Nitrauer will receive 15% of all sales from that night!

*Thank you to those who have volunteered to fill some of the roles for next year!  The PTO still has a few more openings for the 2019/2020 school year:

**Back to School Ice Cream Social – coordinate date and time with Friendly’s.  Ice cream social is the first week of school.

**Fall Fest Understudy – coordinate fall activity involving food trucks and other activities.  Would work under current coordinator.

**Superintendent Lay Advisory Council (SLAC) Representative  – attend bi-monthly, evening meetings with the superintendent and other school representatives. Report back to Nitrauer’s PTO on the subjects presented.

*Attention 4th grade parents (and all parents): have your children outgrown the books on their shelves at home?  Please consider donating your used books to next year’s Book Nook. Books can be sent to school with your student or dropped off in the office all summer long. Chapter books are in the greatest demand.

*As the school year is coming to an end, please have your student check the lost & found for missing jackets, sweatshirts, lunch boxes, etc.  There are many items waiting to be returned to their home.

* From the Manheim Township Education Foundation:
Thank a Teacher – Recognize a special teacher, coach, or staff member with a donation in any amount to the Manheim Township Educational Foundation.  Recognized faculty will receive a personalized certificate with your name and a thank you message. With donations of $25 or more per teacher, MTEF will donate a book to the designated school’s library in honor of the recognized teacher or staff member! Each dedicated book will feature a plaque with the name of the honored teacher or staff member on the inside front cover.  To participate in this program and help grow our book collection, pick up a form in the office or visit to download the form.  Donations return to MT students in the form of grants and support for educational programs.  Here is the link to the form.
*Tutoring Solutions – Check out the summer camp opportunities available through our tutoring partners at  Offerings for Pre-K – 12th grade include chess programs, academic support, math and science camps, coding, robotics, creative writing, and SAT/ACT prep.  Mention MTEF to receive a discounted rate.
